RightClickOps is a local-first application. We minimize data collection and prioritize your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

Waitlist and Account Data: Email address provided during waitlist signup or account creation.

Payment Data: Processed entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We receive a customer ID and subscription status from Stripe.

Usage Telemetry (opt-in): Anonymized action run counts, error rates, and feature usage. No file contents, file names, or personal data is included in telemetry.

Device Capability Snapshot: When you use AI features, a snapshot of installed tools (names and versions only) is sent to our AI gateway. No file contents are included.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, upload, or process your files. All deterministic actions run entirely on your local machine. File contents never leave your computer unless you explicitly use a cloud AI feature, in which case only the minimum data required for that specific action is transmitted.

4. How We Use Your Data

  • Email: To send waitlist updates, account notifications, and product announcements
  • Telemetry: To improve action reliability and prioritize feature development
  • Payment data: To manage subscriptions and process refunds

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Stripe for payment processing
  • Google Analytics (GA4) for website analytics
  • AWS for hosting and cloud infrastructure
  • Anthropic for AI-powered features

6. Data Retention

Waitlist emails are retained until you unsubscribe. Account data is retained for the life of your account plus 30 days after deletion. Telemetry data is retained for 12 months in aggregate form.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting contact@rightclickops.com. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email.
